Drug Interventions
One of the most important services we offer is the intervention. Many substance abusers would not have been willing to quit drugs or alcohol had not their friends and family intervened on their behalf. Most of the visitors to our website are family or friends who may be excited at the possibilities of recovery but discourage at the prospect of convincing their loved one to attend.
An intervention overcomes this challenge. One or more of our counselors organizes a pre-intervention discussion meeting with all family and friends and then later brings their loved one into the meeting. In a safe, open environment, family and friends share with the individual their concerns and their fears. Without threatening or arguing, all participants collectively offer a message: “We love you, and you need help.”
